Pig-dog hunting or pig-dogging ("dogging") as it is generally known, represents the cruelest and most barbaric form of hunting in Australia. It also has a range of ecological issues. Pig-dogging in Australia is a bastardised and brutalised version of boar hunting, an ancient "sport" of the aristrocracy from both Roman and Celtic Europe.
