40th Anniversary Entertainment

Oryx flies with the freaks and outsiders who are drawn to pole dance because together they create spaces for freedom of expression, body positivity, self-love and art. She calls herself a "feminist stripper gymnast" and loves how pole helps people own their sensuality. In a society that has clear boundaries on what is acceptable sexual expression and what isn't, this is an intrinsically subversive act. Oryx has performed at the Factory Theatre, the Vanguard and the Powerhouse Museum as part of Encore Pole Show, Solotude, Pole Evolution and Undressed exhibition.

Mark Pearson

Animal Justice Party MP – the first in Australia to be elected on a platform for the protection of animals.  Prior to that Executive Director of Animal Liberation.  In addition to all of that Mark has a beautiful trained Bass Baritone that he will be sharing with us at the 40th.

Torin King – The Gentleman Harper

Torin King is a Modern Day Minstrel. A Galdor Man. A Singer of Sacred and Sublime Songs in English, Old Norse and other ancient languages who accompanies himself on the harp and lyre. He is also a writer, poet, herbalist, luthier, Ásatrúarmaðr, and vegan.

The Lake Macquarie Post has called him a “King of the Celtic Harp”, while the Newcastle Herald said he has “breathed new life into an ancient instrument”. He has lectured widely on Celtic and Nordic spirtuality, appeared on both radio and television, and his music has been featured in documentaries and films.

Stella Addiction

Stellar had huge success with their debut single release "Second on your Mind" clicking over 25,000 views on YouTube in just 3 months.  They started touring in 2014 and released their second single "The Promise" and then a full album.

They believe so much in the work being done by Animal Liberation they played at the Cruelty Free Festival last year and Stacey Abdilla the front singer and another of the band will be performing two songs at the 40th.

Food will be catered by Natalie Collins and Australian Vegan Catering
