Dear [NAME],
Wild Goat Racing
Over the past year, Animal Liberation's undercover investigators have exposed one of the cruellest animal abusing 'sports' in Australia: Wild Goat Racing. Terrified goats are captured from the wild, tormented and dragged across the raceway to be harnessed to a cart. Children as young as 4 are the 'jockeys'.

The children are thrown from carts as terrified goats run into the crowd or barriers trying desperately to escape. Many goats end up wounded or unconscious, while the children lie on the ground in a foetal position trying to avoid injury.
Animal Liberation and DOCS are very concerned about the risk to the children, and we at Animal Liberation are also very concerned about the brutality and trauma suffered by the goats. We have shown video footage taken at the Coolabah goat races to a Vet who agreed there was evidence of aggravated cruelty to animals. We took this evidence to the police and the Coolabah goat races were closed down as a result of our investigation.

Unfortunately there are several other towns that still hold Wild Goat Races.
Animal Liberation is committed to putting an end to this barbaric "sport". With your support we can repeat our success at Coolabah by targeting similar events in other towns. Please give generously; your donation will go directly to ensuring this animal cruelty is stopped once and for all.

Animal Liberation is on the move
In a bid to reduce overheads so that even more of your donations can go directly to animal rights campaigns, like the one above, we have decided to move to smaller premises. We will be moving on the 21st of August to Suite 506, 89 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
We will need volunteers to help us unpack in the following week so please contact Lynda on 9262 3221 if you can spare an hour or two during business hours.
Father's Day Ideas
Check out the Animal Lib online store 'Oink' for some compassionate gift ideas for Father's Day. If your Dad is a reader we have a wide selection of interesting animal rights focused books to make him think. If he's a bit of a chef, Lynda Stoner's lovely cookbook "Now Vegan" is sure to inspire him in the kitchen. Or you could kit him out in a cool 'Che' T-shirt, sun hat and stubbie holder in preparation for summer (vege) BBQs.
