Fancy yourself as an abolitionist? This month come and see footage from a Gary Francione interview. Gary Francione is a Professor of Law, and was the first academic to teach animal rights to Law students. He argues that animals only need to obtain one right: to not be regarded as property. Gary is a pioneer of the abolitionist theory, and feels that the welfare argument only prolongs animal suffering, allowing individuals to feel comfortable about using animals as property.
Also, after the great success of the last vegan bake sale, find out how you can get involved in the next one (activism with icing - does it get any better?)
